Pilot — “The Glove”
Four kids bomb a wall. The kid who isn't with them yet ends up saving one of their lives.
Fry isn't out with the crew tonight — he's exactly where he's supposed to be, hunched over the workbench in the back of Manny's shop, soldering together the homemade Power Glove he's been building for weeks. Out front, Fast, Ambidextrous, Floe, and Acro hit the shop's roll-down gate with a fresh burner while nobody's watching.
Except somebody is. Manny's got a camera on that gate, and Manny checks the tape. By morning there's a full-color piece where his storefront used to be, a crew that's long gone, and one nephew catching all the blame for something he didn't even see happen — though he's not exactly upset about how clean it looks. Curious, Fry goes back and watches the footage himself, and recognizes the crew instantly.
He tracks them to the A Yard — arriving just as Acro gets caught on a live track with a train bearing down. The glove's never been tested outside his workbench. It works anyway. The crew he'd only ever watched from a distance pulls him in on the spot. The Pilot introduces Fast, Ambidextrous, Floe, and Acro, the A Yard, and the newest Grafscal — Fry, who doesn't talk his way in, he saves his way in.
